TFG brands help empower vulnerable women through R500 000 donation

Foschini and The FIX have donated R500 000 to the Frida Hartley Shelter (FHS), supporting vulnerable and homeless women in Johannesburg.

The donation was handed over at TFG Head Office, where FHS Centre Manager Cheryl Hlabane emphasised the importance of collective action in addressing gender-based violence and supporting women in need.

The funds were raised through the sale of locally produced pocket sprays, with R5 from every spray sold contributing to the initiative. Thanks to the support of customers and teams across both brands, every purchase became a meaningful act of giving back.

For more than a century, Frida Hartley Shelter has provided refuge, care and opportunities for women and families experiencing crisis. This donation supports the organisation’s work to continue to strengthen its services, including shelter, food security and skills development programmes.

Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign and helped make this impact possible.
