Markham raises R1.5 million to support South Africa’s boys and young men

Markham has raised R1.5 million for the What About The Boys (WATB) initiative, reinforcing its commitment to creating positive change in the lives of South Africa’s youth.

Now in its fourth consecutive year supporting the programme, Markham continues to invest in initiatives that help young boys build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging.

WATB creates safe spaces where boys can engage in meaningful conversations, access emotional support and connect with positive role models. Through workshops, screenings and facilitated discussions, the initiative equips participants with tools to make positive life choices.

The R1.5 million milestone was made possible through the collective support of Markham customers and teams across the business. Funds were raised through the sale of two crew necks and four specially designed T-shirts, turning everyday purchases into opportunities to make a lasting difference.

Thank you to every customer and team member who contributed to this campaign and helped make this impact possible.
