TFG Merchandise Supplier take-on process and requirements

Thank you for your interest in working with TFG. Please note our on-boarding process as well as our pre-requisites:

Please ensure that you meet the TFG pre-requisites and upload the supporting documentation with your application:

Suppliers who have offices or who manufacture goods in South Africa:

Need to complete our TFG B-BBEE Questionnaire, and attach to your submissions.

  • Generic suppliers with a turnover above R50 million to have undergone the verification process with an independent auditor and received a compliance score. Should your rating be non-compliant, a corrective action plan will be requested and considered as part of the application process above.
  • EME and QSE suppliers with a turnover below R10 million and R50 million respectively, and who are exempt, are required to complete an affidavit as part of the application process.

All suppliers regardless of office and manufacturing location must:

  • Be a registered entity
  • Provide proof of banking details
  • Have a valid export license where they exporters from other countries
  • Be tax compliant
  • Exporters from other countries must have a valid export license
  • Have conducted an independent Social and Ethical compliance audit, for each manufacturing site where our product will be manufactured, by an accredited auditor. Audit reports submitted should be no more than 2 years old and suppliers will also be required to produce a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for non-compliances identified.
  • Have an active SEDEX membership
  • Accept the  TFG Merchandise Terms and Conditions
  • Accept the TFG Merchandise Supplier Code of Conduct, including the UN Global compact principles and the conflict-of-interest declaration
