TFG is a beacon of hope for SA youth

The month of June is celebrated as Youth Month to honour the role young people played in the fight against apartheid and a right to a fair education. Their courage marked a turning point in our history, reminding us that education is not just a right – it is our foundation to an inclusive future. At TFG, we are proud to honour that legacy by investing in the future of South Africa’s youth.

In the last financial year alone (FY’25), TFG invested over R150 million in youth development. Through our Learnerships, Apprenticeships and Internships (LAI) programme and our involvement in the YES initiative, we created more than 2,700 work opportunities, opening doors to meaningful careers.

From bursary partnerships with the University of the Western Cape and the FEDISA Fashion School to our Sustainable Design Incubator and our Data Science and Leadership Fellowship, our initiatives aim to equip youth with the skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

TFG is committed to building a future where every young person has the chance to lead, innovate and succeed.
