What’s the recruitment process like at TFG?

You can expect a rigorous but fair and professional selection and interview process. We do our due diligence to make sure that we choose the right people for the job, and that means crossing all our T’s and dotting all our I’s. Should you be selected as a good candidate for a position, you will undergo a thorough screening and competency-based interview process. Depending on the role, this initial screening may also be followed by assessments and further interviews.

How do I apply?

All applications are made online via our search jobs tab. To apply, you must register and set up your unique Candidate Profile. Once you’ve done that, you can easily apply for any vacancy we advertise. You can find all vacancies through our job search function or set up job alerts to inform you of any new vacancies in your areas of interest.

How do I apply for a position at one of your retail stores?

Depending on the store, some of our vacancies are advertised online. You will be able to view these by clicking the search jobs tab.

Can I send my application and CV via fax, mail or email?

We don’t want your application to get lost in the mail! That’s why we made it quick and easy for you to apply via our online portal. This gives you the chance to complete a few short questions online as part of the application process. This additional information helps both yourself and TFG to determine if there is an appropriate match to the role offered.

What happens after I submit my application online?

Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email notification confirming that we have received it. All you do after that is make sure to regularly check your inbox for any further communication from us.

What if I don't see the right job for me?

If you don’t see your ideal opportunity right away, don’t worry. We still want to get to know you! You can register your candidate profile with us while you wait for the right job to become available. A candidate profile provides us with a summary of your skills and experience and enters you into our database. When a position becomes available that matches your criteria, you will receive an email notification that makes it easy to apply.

When will I hear from you?

From the minute you submit your application, just know that we working as fast as we can. A typical recruitment process from application to offer varies and is dependent on the role, but it typically takes about 1 to 2 months.

When will I know if I have an interview?

The process shouldn’t take longer than 2 weeks, but this is role dependent.

I forgot my login username / password to apply for vacancies. How do I retrieve this?

It happens to the best of us! Please use the “Forgot your username?” or “Forgot your password?” links on the login page.  Go to the ‘job search’ page of this site, and click on the “view jobs available ” button. Then click on the “sign-in” button (top right corner) to access the login page.

Am I able to study through TFG?

Yes! We’d love to help you achieve your dreams. That’s why we offer a study assistance course that is in line with your current job or your career path. Assistance is granted in the form of a loan that will need to be paid back over a certain period of time.
